"Pretty Weeds"
"Pretty Weeds" was my ongoing photo project from 2003 through 2015, which focused on finding the beautiful in ordinary places. I photographed flowers, mosses, and other plants (and a few insects) in unexpected or overlooked places. Most of these photos were taken using whatever I had with me at the time. Sometimes that meant a DSLR, but often it was a simple digital camera or a camera phone. Megapixel quantity was never the goal. Photos were taken throughout Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky.

Some see a wish."
